Elly: Ok,  Not so much for sucking things in but for comfort. No matter how thin I've been (even down to 15% body fat) I've always had thigh rub. The chaffing is horrible. I refuse to let this happen anymore! So I buy these or the black pair. They are perfect as they don't ride up or down. They stay in place and don't create weird lines. I buy a pair larger than they recommend as I'm not trying to make anything smaller. I love them! Bonus - I never have to worry about falling and showing my ass when wearing a dress or skirt ;)

JaziJoi: I am a UK 8-10 and ordered a medium. It fits perfectly and does the job. It does not show a visible line on the leg like some of the cheaper types do. It is not constricting like some of the cheaper versions; it is very comfortable. I may actually order a second pair because I use them all the time.

Elizabeth: I bought these nude shorties to wear under white wide-legged trousers to avoid displaying underwear. I deliberately bought size large (I am a size 12), as I didn't want any hint of underwear. The large size is perfect for me. The underwear is invisible under white trousers. I wasn't particularly interested in a slimming effect, although the shorties do smooth out lumps and bumps, if you're looking for a more "controlling" underwear, these are probably not for you. Fully to the waist (but not high waisted) and very soft at the ends of the legs (lycra finish rather than elastic), they are great under wide-legged trousers and probably skirts. I haven't tried them under "skinny" jeans or similar. I intend to buy another nude and a black pair!
